Programs
This class is designed for someone that does not need AHA CPR certification but still wants to know the basic skills on how to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in the event of a cardiac arrest. Other skills covered include airway management - foreign object removal and life threating bleeding control (STOP THE BLEED®). Time is extremely critical in dealing with cardiac arrest, obstructed airway and life threating bleeding. Someone experiencing one of these emergencies needs help immediately, even before EMS arrives at the scene. The Life-Saving Basic skills class will teach you how to respond to those emergencies.
